The two pieces done for the CLAWS Exhibition that was curated by Allegra Lockstadt and Meghan Murphy and shown at the Public Funtionary.
These two pieces compliment each other by being tied to the Latinx queer identity (Caribbean centric) and were a response to the 2016 Orlando shooting that took place at Pulse, a gay nightclub. Bearing the words "DON'T FORGET ME" in Spanish on the back of a jean jacket for the wide range of Latinx members of the queer community that were killed that night. Every other aspect of these illustrations are for bringing luck and prosperity to the Latinx queer community and to show carefree queer characters not having to worry about unfortunente things like the shooting coming their way because of who they are.
